Piracy has been the major concern of film producers and distributors. It has been affecting all films and steps are being taken at every instance to overcome the release of pirated films on the internet.

The recently released Petta which has been getting great reception from fans has now become a prey to this too. On 19th January,a fan took to twitter to report a shocking instance of Petta movie’s pirated version being played in Government SETC bus from Karur - Chennai. The tweet immediately went viral and was retweeted by many.

Vishal has retweeted, "Truly hope the Govt takes some action on Piracy. Here is confirmed source with evidence that Pirated Movies are played in Govt Buses. @CMOTamilNadu @OfficeOfOPS @OfficeofminMRV @Kadamburrajuofl" Even the TFPC Anti Piracy Cell responded to the complaint "We are looking into the issue. Necessary action will be taken ASAP." Piracy needs to be curbed down all at once and we hope government takes necessary steps to cut it off.
