During a recent interaction with the press, Rajinikanth was asked to express his opinion on the #MeToo movement that is currently going on, the actor stated that "It is definitely a good initiative and safety for Women is a must in all aspects. But, it is also important to never misuse this meaningful initiative taken up by the victims."
He was further asked to make a stand upon the allegations pressed against lyricist Vairamuthu during this movement and he responded stating, "I am aware of the allegations on him, but he has responded with a clarification on this issue, he has denied stating that he has all the essential proofs to clear the issue."
