Last week, Rajinikanth had voiced out his opinions about the central government over the on-going violence that is currently going on in the capital city regarding the Citizenship Amendment Act. Actor Kamal Haasan had also supported and welcomed Rajinikanth’s new move.
On Sunday, members of the Muslim outfit 'Tamil Nadu Jama Athul Ulama Sabai' met the 69-year-old actor at his Poes Garden residence. And later on Sunday, Rajinikanth took to his social media and tweeted that he is ready to play any role to maintain peace in the country.
He wrote, “I was extremely pleased to have met and heard the valuable suggestions from the executive members of Tamil Nadu Jama Athul Ulama Sabai today. I fully endorse their view that love, unity and peace should always remain of prime importance to any country. I am always willing and ready to do everything within my capacity to maintain peace and harmony in this nation.”
