During today's fans meet, Superstar Rajinikanth talked about his upcoming film Kaala and about its release.

"Pa Ranjith has shown a different Rajinikanth in Kaala, something you have not seen me do in the past. I felt really happy doing that role in Kaala. The film will release two months after 2.0. I am not sure what I am going to do after Kaala, it all lies in the hands of God."

So if Kaala is planned to release two months after 2.0, we could expect the film to hit the screens by June or July 2018.
