Superstar Rajinikanth had called for a press meet today (March 12) at Chennai's Leela Palace. This is a political press meet, where the actor is explaining his vision for his party.
In his speech, Rajini added that his party will have a separate Chief Minister candidate and a separate party leader. The actor said that he never thought of becoming a CM and that he will only be his party's leader. Further, Rajini insisted that this must be the model followed by other political parties in the future to ensure proper governing.
Rajini had recently held a meeting with his district secretaries of Rajini Makkal Mandram and during his interaction with the press after that meeting, the actor said that the meeting went off well except for one aspect where he was personally disappointed over an issue.
In today's meet, Rajini revealed that his supporters did not support his decision of not standing for the CM candidate and that is the thing which had disappointed him during his last meeting. Stay tuned!
