Raghava Lawrence, on his latest official statement, has requested everyone not to make politics out of his activities and his socially responsible works.
Raghava Lawrence, in his statement, said, "I had gone to Tirupathi yesterday for the pooja function of my next film, Muni 4. After coming from the temple darshan, few of my media friends asked me questions about Muni 4, my mother's temple, and also about the NEET controversy.
When I told, 'time will answer for the NEET controversy,' my answer was twisted in the media reports. They made the headlines that created an impact like, I have commented against BJP. But not even in a single place did I talk about BJP. Why would there be a need for me to talk about them? Social service and spirituality are what I like to do and follow; not the politics.
Also, they asked if I gave 15lakhs to Anitha's family. I told them that it is something that happened between myself and Anitha's family and it is enough if we both know about it. I kindly request not to make politics out of my statements."
