Recently production and distribution house Eros Now courted a controversy after they posted alleged vulgar content for Navratri and the same backfired.
Several angry netizens took to Twitter to register their backlash and #BoycottErosNow started to trend.
Later, Eros Now put out a statement apologising for the gaffe.
"We at Eros love and respect our cultures equally. It is not, and it has never been, our intention to hurt anyone's emotions," they wrote.
"We have deleted the concerned posts and we apologise for having offended anyone's sentiments," they added.
