The first look poster and the title of Ashok Selvan's new film was announced yesterday (September 6). Titled as 'Jack', the first look denoted that the film will have a dog playing a very important role, alongside the Thegidi actor. Directed by 'Bruce Lee' fame Prasanth Pandiyaraj, Jack has Ashok Selvan playing the role of an army officer.
Talking about this project, producer Selva Kumar of Kenanya Films shares, "As a company we are determined to show case versatility in the type of films we make. This animal genre was something which we have not done until now. When Prasanth narrated the script, I was extremely delighted. I could see the possibility of the film getting a national attention here.
Ashok Selvan walks into any genre of films with ease as he has got the pan Indian looks which is not so common. His physique suits the role of an army man too. We have assembled the best of talented technicians who will possibly add more value to the product.
Gokul Benoy is the cinematographer and Justin Prabhakaran is the music director, while Dhilip Subbarayan will choreograph the action sequences. This adventure drama will aim a mid summer release."
