Actress Priya Bhavani Shankar was a newsreader in Puthiya Thalaimurai before she started to act in Star Vijay Television's serial Kalyanam Mudhal Kadhal Vara and then marked her debut in films with Meyaadha Maan.
She then went on to act in films like Monster with SJ Suryah and Mafia with Arun Vijay. She was last seen in Blood Money and has a number of films including Rudhran, Yaanai, Pathu Thala, Bommai, Hostel, Thiruchitrambalam, Agilan, Indian 2 to name a few
