Sai Pallavi is making her Tamil debut (as heroine) with director Vijay's Karu. The film talks about a young mother and her 4-year-old child. 

The recent hot shot music director Sam CS of Vikram Vedha fame scores the music for this Tamil/Telugu bilingual. Now the latest official announcement is that the trailer of the film will be released on November 18 by Prabhu Deva.

Lyca Production's recent tweet confirms the same, "King of Dance @PDdancing to launch #Karu (trailer) on 18th November at 5 PM."
