Actor Prabhu Deva, who was last seen in ‘Charlie Chaplin 2’, which was the sequel to the blockbuster film ‘Charlie Chaplin’, is on a sequel spree. The actor is currently awaiting the release of his next film, ‘Devi 2’, which is also a sequel to the 2016 horror film ‘Devi’.
During a recent press meet, the producer of the film Ishari K.Ganesh had revealed that ‘Devi 2’ will be releasing on the 5th of April. However, there seems to be change of plans. ‘Devi 2’ will hit the screens on the 12th of April, marking the summer holidays.
‘Devi 2’ stars Prabhu Deva, Tamannaah and Nandita Swetha in lead roles. The movie is directed by Vijay, and has music by Sam CS, while Ayananka Bose has handled the camera, with Anthony handling the cuts. The project is produced by Ishari K.Ganesh under the banner GV Films LTD in association with R.Ravindran of Trident Arts.
