Maari was a successful outing for director Balaji Mohan and Dhanush back in 2014. When they announced a sequel to the film, it was an exciting news for all fans!

The shooting is currently nearing completion with Sai Pallavi, Krishna and Tovino Thomas having completed their portions. The latest update is that the team is currently filming a song sequence. 

But that's not it! Dhanush just gave a massive announcement that this particular song is being choreographed by stalwart Prabhu Deva! We already know very well about PD's prowess in dancing and Dhanush has also established himself as a fine dancer over the years. This combination is expected to produce some fireworks on screen!

"I’m super privileged to share with you all, that the man who is the reason behind dance evolving in our country @PDdancing is choreographing a song for us in #maari2 .. grew up watching his magic. What a moment for me. Thank you sir. 🙏🙏🙏," said Dhanush on his Twitter handle.

Yuvan Shankar Raja is the music composer for this film and we can expect this song to be a foot-tapping number that has ample space for Dhanush to perform some stellar moves!
