The Coronavirus death toll among the celebrities is on the rise, as Hollywood has lost yet another wondrous artist - a brilliant musician, singer, and songwriter. John Prine has passed away due to Coronavirus complications at the age of 73.
The singer was suddenly admitted at the hospital after his COVID-19 symptoms were diagnosed, and was placed in the ICU for about a fortnight. On March 17th, his wife Fiona had clarified that she had tested positive for Coronavirus after their return from a European tour.
John Prine was also an author, actor, record-label owner, two-time Grammy award winner, a member of the Songwriters Hall of Fame, and the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame. Prine was well-known for his lyrics about love, life, and current events, as well as serious songs with social commentary, or which recollect melancholy tales from his life.
