Popular folk singer and actress Paravi Muniyamma (83) has passed away due to kidney failure.
Paravai Muniyamma has played noticeable roles in films. She has won wide attention for her comic role in Vivek's movie Dhool. Subsequently, she appeared in several films. Muniyamma retired from acting due to health problems.
Muniyamma suffered kidney problem for the past few months. She was under medication and took appropriate treatment. The actress-singer passed away this morning at her home in Madurai.
