In addition to usurping lives and making everyone lookout for every possible health hazard that could expose them to the deadly virus, COVID 19 has indeed cast a gloom over our daily lives. In addition to this, the disease has also disrupted our jobs, and subsequently the livelihood of our family. With this being said, this lockdown and curfew affect very much the lives of those whose career depends on outside work.
Amidst this lockdown, popular Kannada director Venkat Bharadwaj has succeeded in his attempt to move forward with the project "THE PAINTER". This film has been shot in 10 days amidst lockdown, in indoor locations across the cities - Chennai, Tumkur, Bangalore, Kankapura, and Hebbal.
The movie is the teamwork of almost 17 technicians and artistes have worked for this project, including as makeup man, light boy, costume and art people. The project is a one hour and 30-minute film and is expected to release by the end of May. "The Painter" is presented by A Lab 19 Innovation along with Amrutha Film Centre and Shekar Jayaram.
