Actor Sibiraj is currently gearing up for the release of his much-awaited film, Walter that is all set to hit the big screens on March 6. The actor will be starring as the male lead in director Pradeep Krishnamoorthy’s third film ‘Kabadadaari’, which is said to be the official remake of the critically acclaimed Kannada film, Kavaludaari, which had featured Rishi, Anant Nag, Roshni Prakash and others in central roles.
Produced by Lalitha Dhananjayan under the banner Creative Entertainers, the film also features Nasser, Jayaprakash, Nandita Shweta and others in crucial roles. Producer J. Sathish Kumar will also be essaying an important role in the film.
It was earlier announced that actress Pooja Kumar would be replaced by Suman Ranganathan who was last seen a few years back in Thala Ajith’s Arrambam. The latest to join the official cast is none other than the director himself.
Yes, with ‘Kabadadaari’, Pradeep Krishnamoorthy would be marking his acting debut. Talking about the character, Dhananjayan G, Creative Producer of Creative Entertainers and Distributors says, “Significantly, there is a particular role in this film that actually demanded for an actor with a good physique and stylish look. After considering many actors, I personally thought Pradeep Krishnamoorthy can efficiently deliver justice to this role. Initially, he was reluctant to wear the greasepaint, but we finally managed to convince him. This character has a pivotal prominence, which will move the story to next level and all its concerned episodes will have more intensity.”
