Back then more than a decade ago, it was not an easy task to break the stereotype that was surrounded around a woman and walk the ramp as a model and showstopper after marriage. But nothing was impossible for the well-determined model turned designer, Simar Dugal.
In the early hours of Wednesday, this popular celebrity passed away on August 12 after a long battle with cancer. Simar, later, had quit modelling and started designing garments which have been worn by many Bollywood celebrities. from Malaika Arora to Shilpa Shetty. She was aged 52.
Her demise was deeply mourned by the celebrities. Sharing pictures of Simar, Malaika took to her Instagram and posted, “My eyes well up n I can’t stop the tears .... my beautiful friend, my angel, my strongest, my most compassionate sim @simardugalofficial ... love u n miss u so so much .... rest in peace my friend”
