Yesteryear actor Vignesh, star of many Tamil films such as Kizhakku Cheemaiyile, Appu and the Balu Mahendra directorial Raman Abdullah extends a helping hand to the employees of the film industry during the lockdown period.
Vignesh, who also runs the Salem RR Biriyani restaurant in Ekatuthangal, has promised that between 7 AM to 9 PM, struggling cine artistes and employees can have meals at his restaurant, which are free of cost.
The ongoing lockdown has uncovered the humanitarian side of many people, and the Tamil film industry is no exception, as several actors and filmmakers have donated vast sums of money to various organisations in order to fight the Coronavirus pandemic, whilst helping the ones whose livelihood has been endangered by the lockdown.
