Actor Sonu Sood has been the messiah of the masses during the lockdown, helping the needy, throughout the country. The star has now revealed about the audition experience for his first movie, which happened to be Vijayakanth’s ‘Kallazhagar’, in a popular Podcast show.
Speaking about the experience, Sonu Sood revealed about how he got the part in the movie after flaunting his bare body. Sonu said “I will tell you when I got my first film - a south Indian film, my mom gifted me a book ‘How to learn Tamil’ and I was trying to mug up Tamil words for water, ‘come here’ and the likes on the way. I went to the studio and the AD asked me to sit alone. I started imagining that my life is all set to change.”
Sonu further added “They said ‘very good Sonu, you have a good body, can you take out your tshirt and show us?’ I was like, fine and I did. They said ‘good, you are doing our movie’. I was like ‘Did I get the movie?’ and they said, ‘yes, you got it’.”
Sonu Sood has acted in various Tamil movies like ‘Majnu’, ‘Chandramukhi’, ‘Osthi’ and so on. He was last seen playing a cameo in the 2019 film ‘Devi 2’, which was directed by Vijay. He will be seen playing a crucial role in Vijay antony’s ‘Thamizharasan’.
