Popular politician and MDMK leader Mr.Vaiko, has announced that he will be entering into the cinema industry as a producer.

A stage play about Velu Naachiyaar's life history was hosted yesterday (9th October) in the presence of Vaiko, Vishal, Nasser, Parthiepan, Vivek, director S.P.Muthuraman, Vijayakumar and others. After the end of the stage play, Vaiko announced that he would be funding a feature film, under the name of Kannagi Films, which will talk about the life history of Velu Naachiyaar.
 

Vishal, in his speech, congratulated Vaiko and Kannagi Films and wished the best for the film to come out well.
