Pia was last featured in Lakshmy Ramakrishnan’s Nerungi Vaa Muthamidathey. She will soon be seen in a Tamil/Malayalam bilingual, which also marks the debut of Tovino Thomas, the current heartthrob of Kerala into Kollywood. The yet to be titled film is directed by cinematographer/director BR Vijayalakshmi which also features Suhasini, Prabhu and Rohini. We talked to the bubbly Pia to get more details:
What made you sign this project?
After Nerungi Vaa Muthamidathey, many scripts came to me but they were not exciting enough. When Vijayalakshmi narrated the script, I knew this was it. It is a different script and I did not want to miss it. I had goosebumps when I heard the story. I am not allowed to talk much. It is something which will shake everyone. The shoot is completed and the film is at the last stage of post production.
What is your role like?
First time, I am playing an organic farmer called Anu. When you talk of organic farming, you might think, this is about a village girl, but it is not so. I am playing an urban girl who blogs and is active in social media. I am not a social worker but I am a kind hearted soul. Rohini ma'am plays my mother in the film.
Tovino Thomas
He has been giving back to back hits in Malayalam. He is very good looking, hard working and a brilliant actor.
We wish you the best Pia!
