Currently, one of the most trending topics on social media is the first look poster of Thala Ajith's upcoming film Viswasam. This poster stormed the internet at 3:40 am on 23rd August and since then, it has been the talk of the town. 

Meanwhile, we caught up with the publicity designers of Viswasam, Anil, and Bhanu. Here is what they had to say about the making and reception of the first look poster! 

There are two different get-ups and two different backgrounds, can you tell us something about it?

I guess that is the characterization of the protagonist in the film. I can't reveal anything regarding the story or the concept of the film. But, the rural backdrop has Ajith sir with the black hair and the white hair get-up will be set in Mumbai. We just wanted to portray, two different get-ups, two different characters in two different set-ups.

To everybody's surprise, the poster was released unexpectedly. When were you informed about the poster's release?

We had the designs ready and we have been planning for a proper first look release. When I called director Siva, he said there's a plan of releasing it the next day and he said we will confirm the time soon. Then he called me up and informed me about the release time.

Can we expect more looks, or new poster releases from Viswasam soon?

No, right now there are no plans. Since it is a Pongal release, I think we will start off with publicity from December. Anil and I have been a part of the Telugu film industry for a long time. We have worked on many Telugu films and this is our first Tamil film.

Viswasam's first look poster has been trending all over social media. This being your first Tamil film, how do you feel about that?

I felt really happy. But the fact is that it is not trending because of the design but because of Ajith sir. Even the announcement about the first look release was trending. So, we shouldn't take the credit for that. All credits to Ajith sir. But of course, it feels good. Our first Tamil film and the unit is very happy, the director is happy and Ajith sir is very happy with the applause it has been getting. So we hope to do better work and more films in Tamil.

Did you get to meet and talk to Ajith?

Of course, we met him. We went to the sets and showed him the designs a couple of times. He is very kind-hearted and soft. I have never seen a star like that. He is very down to earth and I just love him! Anil and I have only heard about him and with this being our first film, we were wondering how he would receive us. But he was very encouraging.

What was Ajith's reaction after seeing the first look design?
He obviously liked it and that is the reason it was released. He appreciated us as this is our first film. He spoke in a very welcoming manner and liked the designs and other creative stuff.

Did you go for any photo shoot for the first look?

No, we did not have any first look. Both the images are from the movie.
