Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming magnum-opus Padmavati has been facing several controversies due to its content not boding well with many religious groups and politicos. The Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor starrer was scheduled to release on December 1. Now, it has been postponed to a later, undecided date.

Also, Padmavati has still not received a clearance from the CBFC, so the date previously fixed would have been difficult to adhere to. With no official release date announced, the wait continues.
