Actress Nayanthara, who was last seen in RJ Balaji's 'Mookuthi Amman', is awaiting the release of her upcoming film 'Netrikann' directed by Milind Rau of 'Aval' fame. The thriller movie, which has Nayanthara playing the role of a visually challenged person, is releasing on August 13 on popular OTT platform Disney+Hotstar.
The trailer of the movie which was released a few days back, shows Nayanthara on the search for a serial killer who's abducted and killed several women in Chennai. The nearly two-minute-long intense trailer also showed Nayanthara trying to escape from him by using her other senses.
With just a day to the release of the film, Disney+Hotstar released a 30-second BTS video of Nayanthara on the sets of 'Netrikann'. Apart from prepping for the role, the video also showed her bonding with the dog 'Scooby'.

Produced by Vignesh Shivan under his banner Rowdy Pictures, 'Netrikann' stars Ajmal Ameer, Manikandan Pattambi and Saran in crucial roles. The film's technical crew consists of cinematographer RD Rajasekar and composer Girishh Gopalakrishnan.
