The OSCARS 2021, 93rd Academy Awards is underway today (April 26), and the show is going on at a brisk pace. Regina King took the stage as Academy Awards began. The ceremony is being conducted in a socially distanced manner, and is also maskless.
The Best Direction Award has been handed over to Chloe Zhao for Nomadland. She is the second woman to win in the category in the Academy's 93 years of giving awards.
Receiving the award, Chloe remarked - "This is for anyone who has the faith and courage to hold on to the goodness in themselves, and to hold on to the goodness in each other."
