It was recently reported that one of the popular reality shows, Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 3 which was hosted by Superstar Mohanlal was temporarily suspended due to rising COVID-19 cases and lockdown in Tamil Nadu.
The team was shooting in Chennai despite Tamil Nadu’s government ban on the shooting of films or TV serials. Thereby, the set was sealed by a team of officials led by Thiruvallur Revenue Divisional officer Preethi Parkavi.
Reportedly, 6 crew members and a few contestants too were found positive for the virus during their routine test. The reality show started with 14 contestants and were left out with 8 contestants - Manikuttan, Noby Marcose, Ramzan Mohammed, Rithu Mantra, Dimpal Bhal, Kidilam Firoz, Sai Vishnu and Anoop Krishnan.
Now, the makers of the reality show have taken to their social media to announce officially that they have decided to temporarily stop the show due to the ongoing Coronavirus lockdown and have also assured their fans that they would be back once the situation is in control!
