Guru Somasundaram whose performance in Joker was much appreciated has signed up another movie Odu Raja Odu directed by Jathin Sanker Raj and Nishanth Ravindran.

When we spoke to one of the directors Jathin Sanker Raj, he told, "A majority of our crew has graduated from LV Prasad. We met at the LV Prasad Institute. Later on, we decided to name our productions as Candle Light Productions." 

He also quipped "Both of us have taken up multiple jobs. While Nishanth Ravindran is responsible for screenplay and editing, I have taken up the role of  executive producer and director of photography, apart from being the director. The music director is Tosh and the cast is led by a few big names like Guru Somasundaram, Nasser, and Anandsami."

When we contacted Guru Somasundaram on whether we can expect another different role in this film he laughed and said,"I have played Guru Somasundaram in this film and you can expect myself in this." He also spoke about his experience of working with Nasser and quoted, "Nasser sir had guided me in 2002. Now I'm happy to share screenspace with him in this movie". Talking about the reception to the screening of his short film Oru Poi, he said, "There was a good response from the audience and many of them attended the second screening too"
