There were reports trending yesterday (26th October) that the GST dialogues and other controversial scenes from Mersal have been cut/muted in the Telugu dubbed version (Adirindhi) of the film.
 

But, now the official clarification has come from Aditi Ravindranath, Executive Producer of Thenandal Studios Limited, stating that no scenes have been cut or muted. "#Adhirindhi is proceeding as per normal Censor timelines & guidelines. No truth in speculations of mutes & cuts. #AdhirindhiSoon 🙏🏻 #Mass", tweeted Aditi.

Once the team receives the final censor certificate copy, Adirindhi's new release date would be announced. Till then, people in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have to wait.
