Hyderabad: Famous technical artist has teamed up with actor Ajith again.
Produced by Boney Kapoor, Ajith Kumar starrer Valimai, directed by H Vinoth was released on February 24 mid much fan anticipation. The film's cinematography was handled by Nirav Shah.
Valimai was very well received among the fans. Great fans gathered especially for the bike stunt scenes and sentimental scenes. The movie has grossed over Rs 200 crore worldwide at the box office.
The project of AK61, the third collaboration between actor Ajith Kumar, H. Vinoth and Boney Kapoor, was finalized a year ago after the success of Nerkonda Paarvai and Valimai. Ajith Kumar's 61st film has started following Valimai. According to reports, the pooja for AK61 was held at 9.01 am yesterday at the Ramoji Rao Film City in Hyderabad.
The shooting of the film has started at Ramoji Rao Film City from yesterday. Nirav Shah will be working as cinematographer in this film. For the third time in a row, Ajith wil be working with his director H.Vinoth.
Nirav Shah has also worked with Ajith Kumar in the last 15 years in 5 films including Kireedam(additional cinematography), Billa, Nerkonda Paarvai, Valimai and now AK 61.
