Sivakarthikeyan currently has two major projects in his kitty - Ayalaan and Doctor. Ayalaan will be helmed by R Ravi Kumar, director of Indru Netru Naalai. The movie is expected to turn out to be of a sci-fi genre. Ayalaan features Sivakarthikeyan and Rakul Preet Singh as the lead pair, and the project is bankrolled by 24 AM Studios.
In a recent buzz that has been spreading around Kollywood, it has been stated that Rakul Preet Singh has been refusing to shoot for Ayalaan. The actress has strongly refuted this claim of media houses, and has tweeted: "When will we have responsible journalism. When will media start checking facts . 😂 stooping so low just for some extra hits 🤷♀️ plz tell me who is starting shoot and where @BOWorldwide cos I am dying to work 🤣"
With AR Rahman’s music and Nirav Shah’s cinematography, this project's climax shoot has been completed already, which is one major milestone for the makers. It is also interesting to note that Isha Koppikar has been roped in as the antagonist.
