As expected Rajinikanth's upcoming film with Karthik Subbaraj is going to be star-studded. Already the likes of Vijay Sethupathi, Simran, Bobby Simha, Anjali, and Muniskanth are part of the cast list. Now to add more flair to the list, critically acclaimed Bollywood star Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been roped in to play a pivotal role.

The production team made this news official today and this would be Nawazuddin's debut Tamil film. It will be interesting to see if he talks dubs in Tamil for his roles or not?

As known filmmaker Kabir Khan will be directing the biopic on legendary cricket player Kapil Dev. The movie is set in the backdrop of the historic 1983 cricket world cup and actor Ranveer Singh will be playing the role of Kapil Dev.

As per reports, there is a brand new addition to the film. It is said that actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be joining this star project and will be playing the role of Kapil Dev's coach in the film.

The film is currently in the initial stages and is probably going to be slated for an August 2019 release. Stay tuned for more updates on this.
