Director Haltha Shameem's romantic anthology 'Sillu Karuppatti' has won rave reviews and has also emerged as a box-office hit. Comprising of four short films, the omnibus film dealt with the concept of love at different stages of life.
With the film winning the hearts of Tamil film audiences, the recent person to join the club is none other than filmmaker-turned-politician Seeman, chief of the political outfit Naam Tamilar Katchi.
Taking to his official Twitter account, Seema expressed his thoughts about the film with the word 'thithippu' (sweet). The politician concluded by congratulating the director and the entire team. In response to the tweet, Halitha Shameem thanked him for appreciating the film.
Halitha Shameem will be helming the village-based drama Aeley, starring Samuthirakani and 'Kaala' fame Manikandan in lead roles. The film is produced by YNot Studios and Reliance Entertainment, while Pushhkar-Gayathri are creative producers of the project.
