Director Mysskin is basking under the success of his 'Psycho' with Udhayanidhi, Aditi Rao, Nithya Menen and Rajkumar in the lead roles. Released on January 24, the slasher thriller was loved by the urban audience and had a good run at the box office despite the 'A' certificate.
Psycho was produced by Arun Mozhi Manickam under the banner Double Meaning Productions and featured Maestro Ilayaraja's music. Before Psycho, Mysskin also delivered the critically acclaimed films 'Thupparivaalan' with Vishal and Prasanna in 2017 and 'Pisaasu' in 2014.
Despite the three years gap between his directorial, all of them have brought praises for the director among the audience and critics. In a press release, Mysskin thanked the audience for this 'unconditional love'. On this, Mysskin stated: "I made these films with ‘blind hopes’ and eventually landed up in their good books.”
Mysskin added that ‘Blind Hopes’ and ‘Soulful Search’ are the inherent elements of his protagonists Siddarth (Pisaasu), Kaniyan Pongundran (Thupparivaalan) and Gautham (Psycho) and they embraced these mantras. "I humbly consider these as a takeaway for audiences" he stated. Mysskin's official announcement on his next project is expected soon.
