Munnar region in Kerala has been reeling under a landslide triggered due to heavy rains. The death toll has risen to 15 while several others are touted to be trapped under.
Music director Sam CS has made a heartfelt plea, asking for the trapped to be rescued.
He took to Twitter and wrote: A massive #Landslide triggered due to heavy rains, in my native #munnar
#keralarain #idukki. My heartfelt condolences to the victims & their families. We request the state govt to leave no stones unturned to bring to safety the 80 who are still trapped. #prayForMunnar (sic).
