‘Money Heist’ actor Luka, who played the role of Marseille in the Spanish crime series revealed exciting details and spoke about working on the series, his chemistry with the actors off-screen.
When asked about whether his character Marseille would save Professor’s life in the series, he says, “I would give my life to save the Professor’s life and I’ve been saving him throughout the seasons. He is the mind behind the heist, so it is nice to be his side kick and someone beside him. In season 3, he was with the Inspector, other than that, Marseille has been saving him.” Luka also added, “I’ve noticed that when people die in the series, they become iconic and admirable than if they were to remain alive.”
The actor also attempted popular dialogues from Tamil films such as “I’m waiting” from Thuppakki, “I’m back” from Billa and a popular Rajini dialogue from the film ‘Thalapathi’. He also sang the song ‘Bella Ciao’ which featured several times in the series.
Luka spoke about his chemistry with Alvaro Morte, who played the role of the Professor. “We are childish and keep goofing around on set, but when it comes to the scenes, we become professional”, he said.
The actor also revealed that their stunt director was upset with them during the shoot of a fight scene between Marseille and the Professor. He said, “We were getting dangerously close and missing each other by less than an inch. It’s not nice to punch a colleague, and makeup can’t fix a broken nose. So, the stunt director was upset with us the whole afternoon”.
