Megastar Chiranjeevi’s 153rd film, tentatively titled Chiru 153, with director Mohan Raja, went on floors in January. In June, Music Director S Thaman, who's collaborating for the first time with Mohan Raja announced that he's started working on the film. Now the 'Thani Oruvan' director revealed that the shoot for the same has commenced in Hyderabad.
Sharing a selfie with the crew, Mohan Raja said, "With the blessings of parents and well wishers starting next journey, this time a Mega one. Getting set with an amazing team." DOP Nirav Shah, who's a part of Thala Ajith's much-awaited movie 'Valimai', is also working on this movie.
Chiru 153 is touted to be a remake of the Malayalam film 'Lucifer'. Nayanthara will play the female lead. She's joining hands with the Megastar for the second time after 'Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy' which was released in the year 2019. Chiranjeevi's yet-to-be-titled film is produced by Konidela Production Company and Megaa Super Good Films.
