Famous director Jagan Shakti who had marked his directorial debut with Mission Mangal featuring Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu amongst others in prominent roles, was said to have rushed to the hospital owing to his critical condition.
As per reports, he was talking to his friends when he suddenly collapsed and rushed to a hospital in Mumbai and is said to be treated for brain clot. According to a source close to the director, he is reportedly said to be recovering.
Before helming Mission Mangal, he had assisted A.R. Murugadoss in the Hindi versions of 'Ghajini', 'Holiday' and 'Akira' and also had teamed up as assistant director with R. Balki in 'Shamitabh' and 'Paa'.
