Actor 'Mirchi' Shiva's last outing, Tamizh Padam 2, proved to be highly successful at the box office. This spoof film was directed by CS Amudhan and has garnered critical and commercial acclaim.
The actor is busy with the filming of his next film which has been titled as Sumo. Directed by S.P. Hosimen of 'February 14' fame, the film also features Priya Anand in the lead role. Major portions of the film were shot in Japan and the team is now shooting in Chennai. Apart from playing the lead role, 'Mirchi' Shiva had also penned the story, screenplay and dialogues of the film.
The film features songs and background score composed by Nivas K. Prasanna. The film also features Yogi Babu and VTV Ganesh in crucial roles. Sumo is shot by ace lensman and acclaimed National Award-winning filmmaker, Rajiv Menon.

In the pic, one can see Shiva having a great time with his co-stars, Priya Anand and a real Sumo wrestler who will be featured in the film, Yoshinori Tashiro.
