We had earlier reported about the warning issued by AIADMK's Fisheries Minister of the state, D Jayakumar to Kamal Haasan. Adding to his condemnation to Kamal's tweets, he has also given a link to a character in one of his older films and issued a sarcastic statement on it.

He said, "கமல் குணா திரைப்படத்தில் வருகிற கதாபாத்திரத்தின் கற்பனையிலேயே இன்னும் வாழ்ந்து வருகிறார்". This accurately translates to, "Kamal is still living his character from the film Guna".

He also added, "ஜெயலலிதா இருக்கும்போது தமிழ்நாட்டை விட்டே போவேன் என்று கூறியவர் கமல் ஹாசன். அவர் தற்போது யாருடைய கைப்பாவையாக இருக்கிறார் என்பது தெளிவாக தெரிகிறது", which translates to, "Kamal Haasan is the person who said he will leave Tamil Nadu when Jayalalithaa was there. Now it is very obvious as to whose puppet he is."
