Director Rathnakumar who made an impressive debut with Meyaadha Maan is ready with his second film that is expected to go on floors very soon. Titled as 'Aadai', this female-centric film will have Amala Paul as the lead.

Talking about the project exclusively to Behindwoods, Rathnakumar stated, "Yes, my next film is called Aadai, with Amala Paul in the lead. Off late there have been many women-centric films that talk about their empowerment and other related issues. But this film will be totally different from that and will be a very light-hearted one. It will be a fun commercial film having entertainment values as like how Meyaadha Maan had.

Vijay Kartik Kannan of Iravaakaalam fame is doing the cinematography and Pradeep Kumar, along with his band will be in charge of the musical score. A new production house, 'V Productions' is bankrolling the project. We are setting up things and will go on floors soon."

Best wishes, Rathna!
