Mersal is all set to take the box office by storm. It shows all signs of having a monstrous opening not just in Tamil Nadu but also in other states like Kerala.

Social media is flooded with various bogus reports about the number of screens that Mersal would be releasing in, Kerala. Some say that it will be less than 200 screens while some speculate the number to be over 300.

We got in touch with Global United Media, the distributors of Mersal for Kerala, ir order to know the real picture and this is what they had to say. "We are planning for a 250+ screen release.
