Mersal has been facing a lot of hurdles prior to its release which is touted to happen on Diwali, the 18th of this month. Everyone wants to know whether the censor board (CBFC) clears Mersal's censor certificate.
Just a while ago, Rakesh Gowthaman, owner of Vettri Theatres, has tweeted regarding Mersal's advance booking: "#Mersal advance bookings will not start unless #CBFC clears the censor certificate & TN govt issues the new GO reg revised ticket prices."
So we come to understand that unless CBFC clears Mersal's censor certificate and the Government of Tamil Nadu issues the new GO regarding the revised ticket prices, advance booking for Mersal will not be possible.
