Popular actor, Vikram Prabhu was last seen on screen in Vaanam Kottatum that was released last week and was received well amongst the audiences and critics alike. Post which the actor is also engaged with his much-awaited biggie, Ponniyin Selvan.
Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan is currently being shot in Hyderabad, actor Riyaz had shared a pic and updated that the shoot is happening there. Vikram is juggling between a few more projects - Asuraguru opposite Mahima Nambiar, an untitled film with director Suseenthiran.
The latest one to join his long list is an interesting project which has been inspired by the famous lines of one of the pioneers of modern Tamil poetry, Bharathiyar’s Paayum Oli Nee Yenakku. The film will be helmed by debutant Karthik Chowdary.
While the cinematography will be handled by Suresh Bhargav, a former associate of Balu Mahendra. Mahati Swara Sagar, son of ace music director Mani Sharma, the film will be produced by Kumaraswamy Pathikonda under the banner of Maha Mahalakshmi Arts. National award-winning editor Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao will be taking care of the editing department. The film’s shoot is expected to commence on April 2020.
