When asked about her Tamil films till date, she said, “ It has been a wonderful journey - first film Petta, second movie Master. Though both of these has been big projects, I actually enjoyed working in both. The technical team, the assistant directors, cameraman - it was fun working with them all.”
When mentioned about the excitement for Master, she mentioned, “It is indeed good to know that there is much anticipation for Master. We were all excited to start promotions for the movie but because of COVID19 all those did not materialize.” She also included that on Vijay sir’s advice during the audio launch, ehe said she had been trying to pick up Tamil, has been watching Tamil films and been learning tamil words regularly.
Speaking about her first day on set with Thalapathy, she exclaimed: “ I was quite nervous and that too on my first day I had to act with such a big star. Also I had a lot of dialogues in Tamil, which was not a language I could speak well as I was a malayali who grew up in Bombay, but I can understand well. Vijay sir was very sweet, encouraging, supportive and made the whole experience very easy.”
Speaking about the much-talked-about video call, the actress mentioned it was a result of their boredom. “After Master Audio Launch, we are all excited to start the promotions but lockdown started. So we missed each other, the theatre visits to celebrate with the audience hence we convened in the video call. It was a fun conversation. Anirudh is the craziest of the four, but he is a good crazy - a fun loving person. But Vijay sir says I am crazy. He calls us crazy girls.”
