Widely regarded as a perfectionist, Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan will be playing the lead in 'Secret Superstar' director Advait Chandan's upcoming directorial 'Laal Singh Chaddha'. Adapted from the 1994 Hollywood classic 'Forrest Gump', Aamir Khan will be reprising the role played by Tom Hanks in the original.
Produced by Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao under the banner Aamir Khan Productions in association with Viacom 18 Studios, Laal Singh Chaddha also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan. The makers have now taken to their social media to deny a strong rumour.
Issuing a statement, the makers wrote, “AKP would like to clarify that as a company we follow strict protocols for cleanliness in and around our shooting spaces.
We have a team which makes sure that the location is kept trash-free at all times. At the end of the entire schedule, we make sure that when we leave a location, we leave it as clean, or cleaner than we found it.
We believe that there are some rumours/allegations about our location not being kept clean.
We strongly deny such claims.
Our location is always open to relevant local authorities to carry out checks anytime that they like."
