Everyone’s eyes are on the festive dates January 13 and 14, 2021 as important films are hitting the big screens after a long-long gap due to Coronavirus outbreak. Yes, Thalapathy Vijay’s Master is hitting the screens on Jan 13 and Jan 14 (in Hindi).

Apart from Master, STR’s much-awaited film Eeswaran is hitting the screens on Jan 14. Coming back to Master, we at Behindwoods had revealed that the team is planning to skip the trailer release this time and instead will be releasing different promos.

The recent decision of 100% occupancy in the theatres that was allotted by the Government had received mixed responses. The High Court Madurai bench in its observation said, “Till Jan 11, only 50% occupancy is allowed. During the days of Corona, we cannot allow 100%.” Court has asked TN Govt to file a reply otherwise it is said that the court would decide on the matter.

Now, according to the latest reports, a Division Bench headed by Hon’ble Justice MM Sundaresh and Justice Anandhi warned the TN Government over 100% occupancy order.  In a PIL filed by Advocate Muthukumar, the Madurai Bench of the Madras HC, directs TN Government to reply before 11th of January.

On the other hand, it has been learnt that the Madras High court has banned exhibiting the upcoming film on web illegally. Watch this space for more updates!
