''MY RELATIONSHIP WITH VIJAY SETHUPATHI STARTED AND ENDED WITH CIGARETTES'' - MADHAVAN

Director duo Pushkar and Gayathri is gearing up for the release of their next, Vikram Vedha, starring Vijay Sethupathi, Madhavan, Varalaxmi, Shraddha Srinath and many others. The film's trailer was revealed by Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, and Sivakarthikeyan and the team met the press yesterday to have a short discussion.

Madhavan decided not to talk about any of the actors during the press meet as he firmly believed that the team would meet the press again for a success meet. But when a reporter asked him about his experience of acting with Vijay Sethupathi, this is what Maddy had to say. 

''Vijay is a fantastic guy! I've acted along with legends like Kamal sir and Amitabh Bachchan sir, but I was doubtful about my relationship with Vijay because I had never met him before and Vikram Vedha set was the first time. Usually, in multi-starrers, we would often meet the artists before the shoot to try and bond. But Vijay and I were up against each other, we had a rivalry in the film, so I thought I could go to the location and find out what kind of an attitude I need to adopt with him. We got along so well that I didn't know how I was going to act against him in the film. In fact, I'm not sure if I can say this at a press meet, but our relationship started off and ended with cigarettes (Laughs)''
