Dhanush's upcoming film Maari 2 is directed by Balaji Mohan. Premam fame Sai Pallavi plays the female lead. The movie has music scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography by Nirav Shah and Om Prakash.

Latest shooting update about the movie is that the first schedule of Maari 2 was recently wrapped in Tenkasi and the team is back to Chennai. After a small break, Maari 2 team will resume shoot in Chennai next week.
