One of STR’s upcoming films is 'Maanadu' directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by Suresh Kamatchi. Besides Simbu, the film stars Kalyani Priyadarshan, Bharathiraja, director SA Chandrasekhar, SJ Suryah, YG Mahendran, and others in pivotal roles. Simbu plays a young Muslim man in the film. Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing the music for the film.
The posters and the teaser of the film, which is based on politics, were released and were well received by the fans. Now, producer Suresh Kamatchi took to Twitter and penned - நான் பார்த்தவரைக்கும் #Maanaadu படம்
