Critically acclaimed Malayalam filmmaker Lijo Jose Pellissery, who is known for his works like, 'Angamaly Diaries', and 'Ee Ma Yau', has announced his next.
The film has been titled as 'Jallikattu', and Lijo took to his Facebook page to share the first look poster of the film. The cinematography will be handled by Girish Gangadharan, while Prashant Pillai will take care of the musical score.
Vinayakan and Antony Verghese are said to be playing the leads in this film.
Angamaly Diaries – the popular Malayalam hit movie which was released in March this year is all set to be remade in Telugu. The movie was a stand out with the fact that it had a stunning 89 new faces featured in it.
Vishvakh Sen is said to be doing the role donned by Antony Varghese in the original version. This remake is expected to be made in the same manner as the original one with a lot of new faces. Vanmaye Creations who are planning to produce the film reported that they are on the look out for 80 new faces and the auditions are happening in full swing.
It is known that the super hit Premam was remade in Telugu and was received well by the Telugu audience. If all goes well for the team, this remake too can match the buzz that was created by the original version
